Böckmann sets new standards: New "Portax Plus" Option now available for extended model range
Even more space and comfort through maximum headroom in additional Portax models.
We are now offering the "Portax Plus" option for an extended model range, setting new standards in headroom and comfort. In addition to the existing Portax E, Portax SKA and Portax K models, this option is now also available for the Portax L E, Portax L SKA and Portax L K variants.
The "Portax Plus" option includes a higher hood and a 180 cm center post partition, specifically designed for the needs of large horses with a height at withers of up to 1.80 m. The higher hood increases the trailer's interior height from 2350 mm to 2550 mm. At the same time, the overall height of the trailer increases from 2815 mm to 2980 mm, making Böckmann the provider of the currently highest interior space on the market. The surcharge for this option is €470 (gross including 19% VAT) for all Portax models.
The modifications provide horses with more headroom and ensure additional comfort, especially for horses with high withers. The existing features of the Portax models, including the safety stall bar system (MSS), full-height access doors and a high-quality full aluminum floor with a 20-year warranty, are meaningfully complemented by the Plus option. The generous space in front of the stall bars remains unchanged in the new version.
Additionally, the special light arch reduces glare in the interior, creating a stress-free environment for horses. Further customization options such as foal grids, mounting aids or head partition walls are also available. This allows horse owners to optimally adapt their trailer to their requirements.
