Thoughtful equipment: Carrying tarpaulin and electric winch for gentle loading
An outstanding feature of the ambulance trailer is its standard equipment, which includes a carrying tarpaulin and an electric winch with a battery. This allows a lying horse to be safely and gently loaded onto the trailer. For standing but injured horses, the trailer provides additional stabilization: two padded partitions with box bars offer support and can be removed with just a few steps, if necessary, to create space for a lying animal.
Privacy screens, which can be anchored to the floor if needed, ensure a calm environment for the injured animal during transport. This thoughtful equipment makes the trailer particularly versatile and practical.
The Portax L E model as the basis of the ambulance trailer
The new ambulance trailer is based on the proven Portax L E model by Böckmann, which has been specially optimized with additional features for emergency use. To ensure maximum visibility on the road, the trailer is designed in bright yellow.
To ensure smooth operation even in stressful emergency situations, Böckmann has developed a user-friendly video tutorial. By scanning a QR code located on the inside of the access door, users can access the instructions at any time and familiarize themselves with the trailer's functions.
The ambulance trailer is particularly suitable for use at tournaments and other events where quick intervention is essential. It can either be rented from participating dealers or purchased directly from Böckmann upon request.
