The Hamburg Derby is a long-standing show jumping and dressage tournament with a large fan base. The tournament in Klein Flottbek is one of the outstanding social events in Hamburg. For over 100 years, the Derby Park has been a meeting place for equestrian fans on Ascension weekend.
The PFERD Wels is the equestrian trade fair in Austria. It is an outstanding event for equestrian sport, breeding and training. Every year, thousands of visitors from home and abroad flock here to experience the diversity of the equestrian world. The fair offers first-class sporting competitions as well as an extensive exhibition area covering all facets of the equestrian universe.
The Longines Balve Optimum combines tradition and world-class equestrian sport – a unique sporting and cultural event. Top international equestrian stars are in attendance, allowing equestrian enthusiasts and spectators to experience equestrian sport at the highest level amidst the picturesque backdrop of Wocklum Castle.

As every year, the French Championships take place at the Federal Equestrian Park in Lamotte-Beuvron. During the event, more than 20,000 people per day, 7,000 horses, 8,000 ponies and a total of more than 500,000 visitors are expected. The French Pony Championships will take place from 04/07 - 12/07/2026.
In Falsterbo there is always as much Horse as Show. With almost a thousand horses and riders, fifty different classes over various disciplines, and over six hundred people working in the Falsterbo Horse Show crew, you soon realize Falsterbo Horse Show is not just an ordinary event.
The Ahlhorn Riding Days feature high-class show jumping competitions every year. In addition to sporting highlights, the tournament also offers an exhibition, catering and a family-friendly atmosphere, as well as a varied supporting programme.
The Tarmstedt exhibition is the oldest and largest regional fair in northern Germany. The focus is on agriculture, agricultural, municipal and energy technology, animal show & breeding, home & garden, leisure and hobby. Altogether there are about 750 exhibitors who present themselves on 18 hectares of open-air grounds as well as 9 exhibition halls.
With over 100 competitors, the Oldenburg State Tournament is one of the largest tournaments in Europe, combining high-class riding and driving championships at various levels of difficulty with shows and entertainment. Since 1949, it has brought together a wide variety of groups from across the Weser-Ems region and far beyond, whether young or old, professional or amateur, as well as important figures from business and society in the region.
From 5 to 9 August 2026, the World Championships for young dressage horses will once again take place in Verden.
The world's best dressage talents will then crown their champions at the showgrounds.
