This year, we continued to work at full speed on innovations for our horse trailers. We presented the first new model, the new Comfort, to the market in December. From now on, our Portax family also appears in a new design and is reliably robust and practical down to the last detail.

The new Bockmann Comfort model

The new Comfort models offer many innovations. An optimised interior height of 2315 mm and interior length of 3353 mm for significantly more headroom for the horses and more space in front of the stall bar for the rider. A larger entrance door to the horse stall area, a new tack room concept with a view to easy handling and comfort and the new design convince visually and practically all along the line.

In addition to the "CFFplus" comfort suspension chassis for optimum road holding, the body made of reinforced full polyester and the quality aluminium floor with a 20-year guarantee, the trailer includes extensive standard equipment with many detailed solutions. This includes, among other things, the side padding and the Böckmann Multi Safe System (MSS), for emergency release of the padded box bars. A comprehensive safety concept and the blue LED transport light create a calm atmosphere and maximum safety for the horse.

The new tack room concept also offers maximum storage space for the equipment. The larger door allows convenient access to the tack room and simplifies its use. It has practical storage options and intelligent storage compartments, as well as saddle holders that can be adjusted horizontally and vertically in height and pulled out. A telescopic broom, shovel and door net as well as crop and pad holders are also part of the standard equipment.

The 9 different models of the new Portax family have been extensively revised and offer even more advantages for horse and rider with individual space concepts, a generous amount of space and extensive standard equipment.

Proven quality and numerous innovations

The new arc reduces the direct glare to a minimum, which significantly reduces disturbing factors for the horse. The side sliding windows and the special light arch create a large window area and thus ensure optimal and stress-free transport conditions for the horse. A particularly bright and inviting interior, protection from dazzling oncoming traffic, no direct sunlight, excellent ventilation and grids for additional safety are also provided by the new light concept. The new models also have an eccentric clamp and magnetic brakes, which Böckmann did not have before. These facilitate handling enormously, as the eccentric clamp enables easy removal of the centre post partition, while the magnetic brakes lock the partition wings on both sides.

New features

Each of the 9 models has a well thought-out tack room or saddle room concept. These are matched to the size and function of the trailer and allow for maximum storage space and easy handling. The partition wall systems are also adapted to the trailers and ensure maximum safety in the horse stall area with the Böckmann Multi Safe System (MSS). In addition to this, the World-Class chassis "WCFplus" according to automotive standards, the Böckmann quality full aluminium floor, which is guaranteed for 20 years, the rear flap/1-wing door combination and the blue LED transport light are also part of the standard equipment. Numerous accessories make trailers even more individually adaptable to the needs of riders and horses.
