Böckmann Celebrates with International Dealer Event and Anniversary Festival for Employees and Their Families
From June 20 to 21, 2026, Lastrup was at the center of a very special double event: Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH invited guests to a festive anniversary weekend to celebrate its 70th anniversary. Two days, two target groups, one shared foundation – a passion for quality, innovation, and reliable transport solutions "Made in Germany." Both events took place at the Kundencenter at the Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke headquarters in Lastrup.
Saturday, June 20, 2026: International Dealer Event in Lastrup
To kick off the anniversary weekend on Saturday, Böckmann welcomed around 170 specialized dealers from all over the world to the dealer meeting. Dealers from Canada, France, Finland, Germany, and other countries traveled to Lastrup to experience a day full of professional exchange and an intensive program together – in beautiful sunshine and summer temperatures.
The event focused on the presentation of exciting new developments as well as numerous practical workshops, in which the technical know-how surrounding the Böckmann vehicle world was deepened. Complemented by online marketing training and open discussion rounds, the conference offered valuable insights into the product world and enabled an intensive professional exchange at eye level. Personal contact between dealers, partners, and the Böckmann team was the centerpiece of the day.

Sunday, June 21, 2026: Anniversary Festival for Employees and Their Families
The second day of the anniversary weekend belonged entirely to the people who make Böckmann what it is every day: the employees and their families. Around 500 guests celebrated at the large anniversary festival on June 21, 2026, at the Kundencenter in Lastrup. The event featured a varied program with attractions for young and old, including bouncy castles, an obstacle course, various games, and a balloon artist. A DJ ensured a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, while exclusive factory tours were offered to anyone interested, providing exciting glimpses behind the scenes of Böckmann's production.
The event was officially opened with speeches by Managing Directors Stella and Justus Böckmann, who shared personal words of thanks with their workforce and looked ahead to their shared future.
The works council also took the floor to thank the management on behalf of the entire workforce for what they have achieved together. As a special token of their commitment, the employees raised over 900 euros among themselves, which will be donated to a charitable cause as part of the festival.
On both event days, top chef Cornelia Poletto and her team from Hamburg were personally on site to look after the culinary well-being of the guests, treating participants to excellent cuisine.

Since 1956, the name Böckmann has stood for quality, innovation, and reliable transport solutions. What began as a regional craft business in Lastrup is today an internationally recognized manufacturer of trailers and transport vehicles with a global dealer network. The anniversary weekend was an expression of this self-image: In combining international specialized trade with an active corporate culture, Böckmann demonstrates the true meaning of seven decades of experience – not only in product quality, but also in its relationships with partners and employees.
