Tailor-made transport comfort for Icelandic horses and ponies
New “Isy” and “Pony” equipment packages for the Champion model range
We are expanding our proven Champion model range with two specially developed equipment packages: the “Isy Package” for Icelandic horses and the “Pony Package” for ponies. The Isy Package offers additional design flexibility for the Champion C and Champion R. For the Champion Esprit, both the Isy Package and the Pony Package are available.
This responds to a specific practical need: smaller horses require different partition and safety solutions than larger horses to ensure they are optimally protected and comfortable during transport.
Safe transport tailored to smaller horses
Standard partitions and safety bar systems are often designed around the proportions of larger horses. As a result, they do not always provide smaller horses and breeds with the right visibility or optimum support. Our new equipment packages address this need with carefully designed details tailored precisely to horses up to 145 cm at the withers.
The Isy Package – specially developed for gaited horses
We developed the Isy Package specifically for transporting Icelandic horses. A distinctive anthracite gaited-horse design with matching decorative stripes gives the trailer a high-quality and unmistakable appearance.
Inside, a clear PVC partition with a PVC upper section provides excellent visibility between the horses. The partition is precisely tailored to Icelandic horses up to 145 cm at the withers.
For additional comfort during the journey, the package includes padding on both sides. The black plastic side kick protection helps prevent injuries. The Multi-Safe system, a safety bar system, ensures reliable yet flexible support for the horses inside the trailer.
A side storage compartment extending along the entire standing area provides additional space for equipment, blankets and accessories – a practical detail that makes everyday life easier for Icelandic horse owners.
The Pony Package – compact, safe and comfortable
The Pony Package is also consistently designed around the needs of smaller horses. A clear PVC partition with a PVC upper section provides ponies up to 145 cm at the withers with clear visibility and a secure sense of space during transport.
The side padding and black plastic side kick protection reliably protect against impacts and friction. In the Pony Package too, the proven Multi-Safe system forms the basis for a safe and comfortable stance inside the trailer.

With the Isy Package and Pony Package, we are reaffirming our commitment to developing horse trailers for the diverse needs of different breeds and sizes – not just for the average horse.
Both packages are now available from all Böckmann dealers and can be configured to match the selected Champion model variant.
