• Remove the two hollow tension pins and the end element in the tube.
  
• Shorten the bar to the desired length.
  
• Drill the tube at the required point, reinsert the pin, and reassemble all parts.
  
• For optimum stability, the bar should be under slight pressure to ensure a secure hold.
